Ingredients

  • 3 oz Prosecco DOC or DOCG recommended
  • 2 oz limoncello
  • 1 oz sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slice for garnish
  • Optional: 1 oz fresh lemon juice for extra citrus flavor

Method

Choose a 12–14 oz wine glass, preferably tulip-shaped.
Fill the glass halfway with ice.
      Pour in 2 oz limoncello.
        Add 3 oz chilled prosecco.
Top with 1 oz sparkling water.
            Stir gently once.
Garnish with a fresh lemon slice.
If you want a stronger citrus kick, add 1 oz fresh lemon juice before stirring.

                  Notes

                  • Chill everything ahead of time — the limoncello, prosecco, and even the glass. A cold spritz always tastes better.
                  • Always use prosecco instead of champagne. Prosecco’s lighter, fruity flavor is what makes this drink taste authentically Italian.
                  • Fresh lemon juice makes a big difference if you enjoy a brighter, zesty flavor.
                  • For parties, mix the prosecco and limoncello in a pitcher and keep chilled. Add sparkling water only when serving.
