Fill a large balloon wine glass all the way with fresh ice cubes.
Pour in the Prosecco first (about 90 ml).
Add Aperol (about 60 ml).
Top with a splash of soda water (about 30 ml).
Give it a gentle stir so the flavors blend without losing bubbles.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice and serve right away.

- Always use fresh ice. Old ice with freezer smells will change the flavor.
- A large balloon wine glass is best because it brings out the aroma and keeps the drink colder.
- The 3-2-1 ratio is classic, but you can tweak it slightly if you like it more bitter or lighter.
